I see this as having another arm n competition  for the off-season. Also, it gives them another possibility  if we don't get a qb in the draft we are targeting. They definitely  are still eyeing a couple if prospects. Just got to have extra insurance and possibly  throwing the scent off them in any target.

If we're just looking for a body, get one that we haven't seen before. Draft a late round prospect or an udfa with traits. Take a look at something different. If both are getting cut anyway, I'd rather take a shot on the guy that has .1% of becoming something than the guy that's already proven he's 100% of nothing as a QB prospect.

We can do that too. Teams need 4-5+ QBs for camp

do you think its a coinky dink that the 2 dudes we have signed have worst arms than Bryce?

Not one bit. Just imagine the QB controversy in preseason games if the team’s backup QB were to show off a cannon arm. A blind man can see exactly what is going on. It’s not that they can’t find viable competition, it’s that it is not allowed.

Dan and co in 2 offseasons have made demonstrable roster improvements from top to bottom except in 1 glaring place…
