"Toughest call in football" LMAO. Easiest call. I thought for a minute about Green or Dareus, but at the first pick QB had a lot more value and Cam was a mile above what was a very weak class for non-Cam QBs. Gabbard was a second rounder at best.

this thread inspired me to keep trying to guess passwords to various alts I've created over the years and I finally got in!

I pretty much accepted my fate as a lurker for the last several months because I could not remember my password. I didn't realize that new users couldn't join either, that explains things.

I have been around for years under several different monikers, through the good and bad. I too always find myself coming back here even with all of the new social media options for Panther fan engagement. It's simply nostalgic. 

 I do get extremely annoyed with the same 5-10 posters shitting on Bryce and complaining about everything. It's unfortunate that half of them are mods and that nobody new can join because now I pretty much just come on here and see Bryce / Panther slander. There is barely any positivity to be had.

We all watch this team and hang on this forum for entertainment purposes only. We have no control or say in anything. I used to be such a crazy ass fan that would argue with strangers about Cam newton on the internet and at games. Now, as a father of 3, a business owner and someone with way gnarlier life problems - I like to watch football and talk about football as an escape. Not to bitch more.

I really like the direction of the team and will root anyone in a Panthers jersey. I live down the street from the Rams practice facility, Matthew Stafford is currently coaching his daughters flag football team in the same program I coach my sons. I have two highly ranked Rams staff members sons on my team. The way we beat them and had them on the ropes in the playoffs has me feeling amazing, and you would think we have the next great thing in Bryce with the way they all speak of him.

I'm gonna ride that high and be a delusional fan, I hope that huddle can stick around or get fixed and perhaps I will get back to posting more now that I can log in again. I will do my best to not get banned.

Lord, I remember that time. It was wild in here. The Nolan Nawrocki hit piece comes to mind, and the dudes in here who wanted that to be so true. Something like Cams smile being fake.

Weve had some characters in this place as well. I remember Grits, TheRealDeal, Sanjay and his constant posting of that one football play, King Taharqa, PhillyB lol. It’s been a wild ride

I love this place. Was here since 2012 and have been on and off for other hectic endeavors. Between here and the Roaring Riot, I made some absolute good friends. I got to help start the Los Angeles chapter the of the RR but since moved to Vegas.

I remember that ridiculous Nawrocki piece and the debate here over it. There were posters here who were upset that people were criticizing Nawrocki as if he was some great and obviously fair draft analyst and couldn't understand why the "fake smile" stuff rubbed people the wrong way.

I started on the original Panthers board when I was 18 and migrated through several others. I've had this name on every board I've been on.

I'm glad this place is still here. I have gone in and out from posting for years but always look here for news/discussion.

I've been surprised it has lasted as long as it has. Most of these things have died.

Yes Mark, didn't know his last name but a great guy and a massive Panther fan.  He made my trip to Charlotte an amazing one.
