Early in the morning at the start of an OTA day, the team was assembling for a meeting. Defensive tackle Brian Price told rookie safety Mark Barron that he was sitting in Price's seat. In short order, Barron was getting pummeled by Price. The third-year tackle was said to have gotten in a good number of punches before teammates pulled him off Barron. Both players were removed from the meeting as Barron's face was said to be bloodied.

yikes. what a fuged up situation. price is the guy who is adopting his recently deceased sister's kids. he's also the guy who got sent to the locker room for a reeeeeally stupid personal foul in the bucs' game against the panthers in tampa last season. can't imagine the storms going on inside his mind, but you can't wail on a teammate for something as stupid as "sitting in my seat." hopefully he'll get the help he needs and the bucs can get back to being disfunctional the old fashioned way with him.

Can't even imagine what's going through his head. It's rough. Losing your third sibling? Harsh.

I feel bad for Price, what with all he's going through. And I know he's going through a lot of emotional strifes but still you can't beat the poo out of a team mate over a seat.

I like the guy, wanted to draft him a few years back. He played well last year especially with the injuries he had on his body. I think he'll be a solid DT for the bucs.

I mean unless they want to cut him. I wouldn't be opposed to bringing him here. He's not a bad kid, just has a lot of poo going on in his life and handling it the wrong way. He needs support in his life tbh. And he'd bolster our run defense but now this is probably just wishful thinking haha.

    • I think the qualification has changed over time though. A deep ball play used to take 4 to 6 seconds for the receiver to get to that spot on the field. Now a receiver can be there in 2.5. That's less time than most QBs have to set and throw. In my mind a deep route takes time to develop. A crossing route and a deep route can't take the same amount of time at full speed. You can have 4 deep balls on the same drive,  almost 5 if you do 5 20 yard throws goal line to goal line. That doesn't even make sense when you say it out loud.
    • The sad part is it looks manicured enough that he's aware it's running away from him.  Also, I just wanted to give you some fun loving grief on King Haynes today having a chance to throw a game winning TD, and was wildly errant, and ultimately picked off to end the game.  So happy I won't have to hear anything else about The Golden Calf of Bristol lite ever again watching college football.
    • I just think Panthers believe in Bryce far more than the fans do and he is most likely going to be the QB at least the next two seasons. the real shot of us moving from Bryce is not getting an extension, till then they are going to give him every chance to succeed and I just want to win.
