I like following the careers of small college players, so this year it's Lamont Bryant. Saw him a few times when his team used to play against my school(NC A&T), and saw him make some plays. I'd love for the kid from the MEAC conference to stick on and contribute.

FS- I like Reggie Smith here more than anyone else.

2nd CB- I think its Norman's job to lose, Hogan outside shot, CPT, stays in nickel.

DE/OLB/4-3 vs. 3-4- Who stays and who goes, how much will we run which scheme.

Kicker- Anyone is better than Mare... :(

ROT- I think Its gonna be a battle between Bell and Campbell, edge Campbell.

Kuechly, who I keep forgetting we drafted, Adams and Norman who were two guys I really hoped that we would draft.

Out of the returning guys Lafell as a full time starter is intriguing, as well as the free safeties and Fua who did the opposite of what most huddlers requested and worked to get his weight down in the offseason.

1. Joe Adams- wanna see how he does in the slot as well as how he transitions from a college return man to an NFL return man, he won't be able to make as many movies as he did in college, it has to be one or two and getting up field.

2. Tolbert - eager to see how Chud utilizes him.

3. Gettis - want to see what Cam can do w/ a deep threat like him on the field.

4. Gary Barnidge - had a good camp last year before he got hurt, another big target for Cam, really eager to see if he can produce like Shockey did last year.

Kuechly. Something about that kid makes me think he is going to be bigger than any of us have thought.

Him and Josh Norman's OTA's have piqued my interest.

I agree whole heartedly about Kuechly. I'm from Cincinnati and saw him play at St. X in high school. He dominated the high school and college circuit. It's now time to see if the NFL can contain him..but I don't think so. He's going to be a very special player at LB and the NFL is going to know who he is. He's going to redefine the role of a LB. You will no longer think Brian Urlacher or Ray Lewis when it comes to dominant linebackers.

    • I have been looking for a dropped pass list and all that comes up is QBs. And team stats. When I do receivers I get the passing stats for a handful that threw passes this year.    I wanted to be accurate but anyhow I was looking because thought I remembered reading where T Mac had more drops than XL this year.  One of you many smarter than me people here,I would appreciate it if you know how to pull that up, please do. Thank you.    And yeah I know that isn’t all there is to it I just thought it was interesting.  Of course what the hell is a drop lol.
    • I agree with this and I think it's worth mentioning too that Bryce is not consistent on his placement and especially velocity and that in large part is driven by his footwork. We all know XL doesn't have the best hands and I don't know that he can overcome that. Cam always had the heater that just hit your hands and sank into your grip, where Bryce has some that are harder thrown, some soft. Bryce stepping into a pass looks so much different than that hop throw thing he does. I think XL really needs to hit the jugs machine and start learning how to catch all these different touch passes. TMac and Coker don't have these issues. If XL doesn't get some work in he's going to be out of the league in the next couple of years.
    • I think most people like XL from a personal standpoint. I don't think he's stupid either. Although if we are being realistic he is lacking in football IQ at this point in time and it cannot be disputed that he has not taken working on his craft seriously at all times given the body of work on the field. It speaks for itself. I myself have defended him at times given the circumstances of our QB room. But he is now in his third year and 25 years old. We are not in a position as a franchise to go around babying anyone especially first round draft picks. He needs to take his position and his football career seriously or he is going to end up selling used cars somewhere. I hope he realizes this and takes an extended break from social media because that mess certainly isn't going to increase his net worth if he ends up out of the league. And these hanger on types will disappear quick too once that money dries up and it surely will eventually. We'll see how he responds.
