Cam won't be at offseason workouts this week, likely next week(update: he will attend)

The media will kill him for not being at offseason workouts.

Any media member who says anything negative about him missing just one week of off season workouts because the classes he is taking towards his college degree run into the start of them deserves to be fired immediately, no place for that at all.

As long as he's been working out and studying film/playbook while at Auburn the last few months, I am 1,000% okay with it, and I'm rather certain he has been doing that

Nobody will say crap. He is working on his degree.

Now, if he was designing next years fashion line......

I'm pretty sure he got criticism for actually enrolling back in college from Heath Evans, there will definitely be criticism for him not attending the first week of workouts when he's the face of the franchise. I don't have a problem with it, but the media will.

Read the headline, and was disappointed. Then read that it was to finish his schoolwork, and changed my mind. If there's any reason for him to miss off-season workouts, this is it. I bet you he'll be in in Auburn's weight room non-stop. All this is, is a reminder that our quarterback is maturing and becoming more responsible.

    • Trade up for a project was dumb, he's gonna be 25 next month. By the time you're deciding on whether he's worth the 5th year option or a big contract you're already gonna be thinking about moving on soon either way.
    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
