Panthers won't cut Armanti Edwards anytime soon

I'm so glad this is a opinion. as for mine... HE WILL NOT be on the active on field roster week 1. Yes he may be a good guy, a carolina kid, humbled, on time, listen, but we can't win games that matter in camp. I think he should go to another league for a year or two. Now jimmy should be cut even if we only have 2 qbs on the roster. he is a wasted spot. AE will just be beat out but should have improved far more than what we have seen. its time to take ALL the trash out. that's the best way for our seasons to NOT stink. but that's just my opinion. i'm not GM.

WR's currently employed:

Joe Adams

Lamont Bryant

Trey Diller - CUT TODAY

Armanti Edwards

David Gettis

Ted Ginn

Domenik Hixon

Brandon LaFell

Keloha Pilares

James Shaw

Steve Smith

They'll keep like 5-6 of these guys:

Smith, LaFell, Hixon, Ginn....

If Armanti is on the opening day roster, I'd be EXTREMELY concerned if my name was Joe Adams, David Gettis, or Keloha Pilares.

I read it. and after reading again, I still think it's a opinion. lol... he may get to run around in camp but there is no way  he has a spot this season. in your opinion give me the WR roster spots...

The thing about Armanti in the NFL that i've noticed, he plays scared. I watched him for 4 years in college, no way he would get tackled by a punter. Dude is shifty as hell, I don't know what happened to him. The motherfuger use to pull Cam Newton superman dives into the endzone. I honestly think he is scared of fuging up. But who knows.

    • If you need someone to run your multi-billion dollar business, maaayyyybe don't hire a guy whose previous work experience includes repeated blows to the head and literal brain damage but IDK.
    • Extrapolate that with every QB for that matter. I guarantee you there's quite a bit of missed opportunities and yards left on the field for everyone. Many NFL QBs deal with WRs not putting in A+ effort, subpar o-line play and other deficiencies. The great ones are able to rise above these issues and create opportunities for plays. Guys like Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes can both play in and out of structure, as well as find ways to get yards when things break down and mask mistakes by throwing guys open, creating opportunities from nothing, etc. Bryce Young has only shown he's able to make things happen when the rest of the team picks up his slack. Very rarely does he create those opportunities himself. When this is a consistent pattern year after year with Bryce where he shows up lackluster, it's a concern. This is year three and he should be elevating the team as a first overall pick this franchise traded up for.  He was far from elevating anyone against JAX. In fact, he needed others to elevate and create for him. Excuses may be fine for a rookie, but this is year three for the first overall pick. Not looking good so far.
    • I think the worst issue is coaching. Countless bad snaps, XL not getting his feet in or trying on runs plays, our centre being down field when he didn't need to be. All seem to be from poor coaching for me. I believe Canales is to soft to rip the players a new one when the fug up. Plus I honestly believe that Canales is slow getting his plays in giving Bryce less time to diagnose and adjust to the defence. Don't worry I could of head butted Bryce for that fumble and the 4th down throw aways but the other plays are explainable to me
