Time for some Predictions

Yeah, I'm pretty bored reading everything negative about last week, so it's time to move forward. Usually I stay away from predictions, because they like to backfire on me, but I have learned that what I say on a message board has no affect what soever ever on a game. So whether I say "Bills Suck" or "Man the bills are good don't overlook them" it doesn't really matter. Thus I'm making my first predictions just about ever.

Cam Newton will surprise: This week I think Cam Newton comes out strong, and gets some confidence back. PREDICTION: Cam Newton will throw 4 touchdown passes for the first time in his career.

Yeah, after last weeks performance, only 8 drives, there is no way thats gonna happen against the terrifying Bills right??? Of course it will because... PREDICTION: The Panthers defense will have 3 turnovers in Bills territory.

While I don't think this will be the beginning signs of a great year, I think the Panthers step it up, prove they might be worth atleast something this season and... PREDICTION: Win the game 31-10.

Share you predictions now :)

GO PANTHERS!!

    • Jake, to me, will always hold a special place in my heart.  I really feel like for his era, he deserved way more love than he got, and should’ve had more than his one Pro Bowl.  He was a gamer with an underrated rocket arm. but let me tell you, after his Tommy John surgery, when he came back, I can’t remember who it was against, but it think it was a division game, he threw a ball that was supposed to be a throw away, as I think he was under pressure, and that poo floated forever and died right at the boundary where a defender ran over and picked it off.  One of the worst throws I ever saw.  His arm just wasn’t the same after the injury and surgery.  All that to say, that’s what almost every Bryce throw to the sidelines looks like to me.
    • And again, when watching him in college he had one distinct trait that I feel makes a franchise QB - on those plays when everything breaks down around him, he creates one on his own.  He doesn’t rely on or need everyone else.  That play last night on the final drive where he was getting sacked and threw it to Diggs before his knee hit the ground?  He does similar things all the time.  Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, etc., they all do it.  It’s what made Cam so special. but we picked a guy that’s the opposite of that.  He desperately needs someone else to make a play for him because he can’t.  Even that play yesterday on 4th down to Horn.  That wasn’t a great pass.  The defender was late and came down to make a play in the ball and Bryce threw it high and outside where Horn had to leave his feet and really use strong hands to catch it.  We relied on a 5’9” rookie playing in his first pro game to make THAT catch at THAT time bc of the early turnovers and a not great throw.  Crazy.
    • This thread is dumb. But I do think canales gets too cute with play calling and I don't think he's a good coach
