What Bills fans are saying....

Somebody should really link them Edwards stats from last year if they think he's some scrub....

My biggest concerns.

1. Who covers Stevie Johnson

2. Can our OL handle their Defensive front.

3. Can our running game maintain a respectable YPC average like last week.

4. Will we take the shots deep that we didn't last week.

1. Johnson didn't look so hot last Sunday. He is a legitimate threat though. As long as we have a safety over the top we should be fine.

2. Gross on Mario and Kalil & G on Dareus? 50/50.

3. I see this more as a pass first gameplan. Run when the play is there.

4. With Byrd & Gilmore out you bet your ass. We need to take advantage of Cam's arm strength and accuracy against their average to weak (injuries) secondary. Open up the middle for short passes and run game.

The Bills have lost 19 of the last 20 games vs NE. Only win was in Week 1 of the 2003 or 2004 season opener which the Bills won something like 31-0 and then NE still went on to win the SB.

yeah that was 2003. they lost 31-0 but then won 14 of the next 15.  hilariously they beat the bills 31-0 to end the season too.

Thank you for these threads each week Zod. It's always so interesting to me to get into the minds of the opposing fanbase. A lot of those guys seem pretty damn confident that they will "circle the wagons" and get a victory, but I can't really see any scenario where Carolina loses this game.

I can't trash em.   They're the "US" of the north. Fans of a rebuilding/retooling team  that has gone on for several years without making the playoffs.    Fans just looking to latch onto anything positive they can,  after several years of being the whipping boys.

It's like looking in a mirror and I can't be mad at me.

    • It’s wild to me that so many of you guys are threatened by the idea of an opposing team fan who is polite in 2025. He’s been posting here on and off for years, usually when our teams play each other which hasn’t been for a while. I’d maybe understand this treatment if it was a falcons or saints fan, but packers fans in general are one of the nicer fan bases as long as you aren’t another NFC north team (especially the bears).
    • Some players excel on the big stage, while others freeze and succumb to the pressure. I’m not convinced Cam took a dive. I think he didn’t handle the stage very well. The pressure got to him and he folded. He wouldn’t be the first quarterback or player to struggle in a Super Bowl. Two HOF examples - John Elway and Jim Kelly. The 2002 MVP, Rich Gannon, threw 5 interceptions against the Bucs. Poor performances happen.  Unless of course you believe all these players threw the games they played in, but if that occurred, surely someone by now would have admitted taking a dive? 🤷‍♂️
    • It was always a matter of time with Cam’s playing style and a shorter shelf life than passers that protect themselves. I suppose Cam could have still been playing in 2028 ten years after the hit took place, but he would need to have evolved as a quarterback and become more of a passer than the dual threat maestro he was. It’s sad because it makes us think of what could have been, but I do feel it was always a matter of time until all the hits took their toll.
