Peterson says he's best CB in football, talks about Smitty.

was it on NFL top 100 where PP talks about how 89 abused him in his first NFL game? I believe he had a lot of high praise for him if I remember correctly. Said getting torched by one of the best in his rookie debut was a humbling experience or something like that.

Goodness, take a deep breath...

And I did. And Peterson is not overrated. Top 3 CB in the NFL

He gets a bump IMO bc he does more than just plays CB.

CB in a vacuum, I don't think he is top 3. I don't think he is proven better than guys like Haden, Talib, etc.

And that isn't even getting in to the Sherman level

Only one corner I can remember covering Smitty 1 on 1 and having success the whole game is Darrelle Revis in the Jets game a few years back. Nobody else has ever done it the entire game. Smitty burned them for a long one last year...I expect him to play big this sunday.

The Patriots have had to lean on Maye’s arm more heavily than ideal, and adding a runner capable of producing efficient yardage would give the offense better balance.
    • There aren't 32 legitimate starting caliber QBs in the league. Just like when we were starting Bell and Chandler at OT, did that make them legit "starters"? I mean, technically I guess it did since they were indeed starting but they sure as hell weren't starting caliber players. If you have the 30th best starting QB in the league, you desperately need a starting QB and there's likely backups on other rosters better than your starter just like there were better backup OTs on other rosters than Bell and Chandler.
    • Name a QB as bad as Bryce who had their 5th picked up?  You certainly can name better ones who didn't have it picked up.
