I know y'all love them.

Yahoo: 19

Next three games: St. Louis at home, at Tampa Bay, Atlanta at home. So 5-3 is very possible, which will make the inevitable 3-5 unbelievably maddening.

SBNation: 24

Cam Newton threw the ball 26 times. The Panthers ran it 39 times. Surprisingly enough, all that balance paid off. Newton threw three touchdown passes and added another one on the ground. Best of all, Newton's 9.3 yards per attempt was his best mark this season. This team's too talented to be under .500 this year.

ESPN: 24

Cam Newton completed a career-high 85.7 percent of passes within 10 yards downfield against the Vikings, with more touchdowns (two) than in his previous four games combined.

CBS: 23

Cam Newton had the kind of game this past week in Minnesota that is required of him every week if the Panthers want to get on a winning streak. The next three teams they play have losing records.

USA Today: 21 (Biggest mover, Up 7)

No, we really have no idea which Panthers team will show up each week.

PFT/NBC: 23

The Panthers don’t win often, but when they win, they win big.

Fox: 26

The Panthers' two wins have come against teams that are a combined 1-10 on the season.

Yahoo has been spot on recently.  They said before the Arizona game, Carolina still had a chance to have a strong season with a win vs the Cardinals.  That offer expires with a loss.  Offer has already expired.  Carolina will be chasing .500 all season.

It is just hard to know which team will show up. It is truly a Dr Jekll and Mr Hyde identity we have. We can definitely change that by being more consistent on offense. I think we will end up 5-3 in the next few weeks but time will tell

It's actually pretty easy to know which team will show up. When we play an atrocious train wreck of a team we get Dr. Jekyll, if we play a team that's anywhere close to average, we get Mr. Hyde.

Yeah I see chasing .500 all season on the horizon.

I dont quite buy into this yet. Bye weeks are a bitch and do more harm than good, espcially when it comes right after a huge 38-0 win to get momentum. The Panthers have made things right and had another huge blow out against the Vikings in a hostile enviroment away, we are right back to where we were after the Giants win only this time no pesky bye week to kill off momentum this time, with a easy schedule ahead I see the Panthers above .500 for the first time since 2008 come next Friday morning.

Meh, we have 3 winnable games and a chance to get above .500 right now. All depends in which Panther team plays

    • I think in all honestly, the final 2 games are carrying most of the weight in a lot of Bryce talk IMO.    During the window where he "blew it out of the water" window......were a lot of games where he was not above average.  AZ is largely one of those stat sheet games.   Where the stat sheet reflects QB play that didn't exist in the game.  That game was all Chuba.  Meh vs Dallas.  Meh vs Philly.  Meh vs Giants.  Probably average vs Tampa, Den, Saints.  Bryce made HUGE strides vs what he was.  We should be happy.   But when you start comparing him to the rest of the league.....people I think are going too far.  His best aspect in reality.....is his scrambling.  And that's probably not a great thing give his size.
    • Mays and Zavala looked lost in the Reich offense.  Granted Zalava was probably playing too soon due to injuries but he looked terrible.  This new staff seems to be doing well with our OL.  I also wonder if having two vets in Hunt and Lewis just made life that much easier on whoever was/is playing center.
    • What the Panthers should target in order (via free agency or via trade): 1. Julian Blackmon  2. Mike Hilton 3. Jaire Alexander 4. Jalen Ramsey
