Funniest part of the Pro Bowl last night to me

Shula gave them the option to run the fade or iso. It was the QBs decision. People love taking shots at shula but he was much better at playcalling IMO than the Colts team. I thought our team was vanilla but wow the colts are way worse. It was also interresting to see Foles struggle with the colts jargon and cam whisper in the huddle.

Shula didn't give them that decision until they mostly insisted that he give them that decision.

He wanted the fade, right out of the box.  With a QB with unfamiliar receivers.

Am I the only one who clearly saw Ken Dorsey calling the plays (at least in the first half when I was paying attention)? Unless they rotate coordinators in the Pro Bowl and had Shula (2nd string coordinator lol) calling plays in the 2nd half, then Dorsey was the offensive coordinator in the Pro Bowl.

Ya so him saying "fade or iso you decided" is him telling them to run the fade. Right....

Some people only hear what they want.

Yep, AFTER he had said "fade fade fade" and the players were saying "belly belly belly".

And as has been explained to you upthread, the "belly" and the "iso" are two different plays.  So think about it... Shula said "fade or iso" as you admit... AND THEY RAN THE BELLY PLAY.

Yeah, but you're right... another brilliant call by our offensive prodigy.

It seemed to me that it was the same as with our games. Shula made the decision probably from the booth, Dorsey gave the play to the QB. At the end of the game, Shula was on the sideline because it was the end of the game. I doubt they would change the coaching responsibilities in the short time they had to practice for the Pro Bowl.
