Chiefs announce release of CB Dunta Robinson

I wouldn't want Robinson, however him being on the market only waters down an already fat CB FA pool. Works in our favor. As much as I'd like someone like Kyle Fuller in the 2nd this year, I honestly think we pick up a CB or two in FA this year and focus on "touchdown scorers and hog mollies" (to use Gettleman's words).

this is great regardless of your perception of him.

get as many notable CBs on the market as possible. makes it easier to nail down whoever we want.

Hah I hadn't read your post (only read the first page before making my above post) but I guess we might be onto something if multiple people are having the same bigger picture ideas.

I am not saying he is not worth looking at. Because there is a team for every player. Scheme, personnel, coaching all play a part in a players success.

That said. If the guys is willing to play/prove he can help us. Why not? He has gotten his money. He has experience. He just may fit. Make him an offer contingent with making the team. If he can make the 53 man roster, he gets paid.

We are not THAT bad in the back end. But, if the guy can improve our pass defense. Let him prove it.

Personally, if we resign Mitchell and Mikell, we really only need help at CB. If he wants to prove he can still play. Let him prove it. I am all for ANY guy that can make us better.

Why don't we just become the Falcons and sign every washed up CB possible.

Robinson and Samuel were both Falcons not too long ago.

Honestly, I believe they would be great here. Falcons pass rush has been non-existent. We have one of the best. For a good price I would be okay with it. IMHO.
