Bill Voth claims Jordan Gross is done

Well, it's better for it to happen now than a draft year where OT talent is shallow.

That's pretty much the way I see it. We could still take a dynamic WR in the first and still get someone like mewhort and hurst in later rounds.

I really expected that he'd be back, this is a huge blow if true.

I think the need to try and tag and trade Hardy just became greater. Moneys tight, and we have too many glaring holes. We desperately need an extra 2nd/3rd and a late rounder.

At 28 the pick with most value very well may be WR. We still need to address that position. We have depth on the DL and it's finally time to use that to our advantage.

Maybe if we're lucky he'll replace Marc James in the afternoon.

Don't live in Charlotte, I split my time between Raleigh and Atlanta. But Taylor Z was on the Radio in Raleigh when I first moved there and I hated that dude. Apparently he became more of a little D when he went to the Queen City. So I feel your pain man.

Am i the only one who never really thought Gross was retiring? I just assumed he was going to come back and never even thought there was a realistic chance he was gone.

Wow. Guess thats what i get for assuming

Money and ego are not factors with him as it is with so many players....it is a matter of putting his body through hell and time with his family.
