We're getting rid of Smitty ok. No need to let stories on how much of a "distraction" he is in the locker room or the whole blasting him to the media at the combine and not giving him heads up 1st.

I understand the move but did it really need to be handled this way?

Can Gettelmen get his people to shut the fug up to the media?

How does it help you trade a player when you dog his character like this?

I honestly wish they just do it already and move on. The longer this drags on the more poorly handled it becomes by Gettelmen and staff.

These kind of "leaks" happen to every team, it's a part of the off-season. And for all we know these "sources" that are being reported along with that story could be the same ones many people on here claim to have aka their own fuged up mind.

It's actually quite difficult to come up with an algorithm that makes dumb statements.

none of this came from the panthers front office. Teams that had a failed attempt at a trade for him and or friends of smith.  Most of it is fabricated by the media.
