What if Gettleman is trying to sabotage Cam?

I think Gettlemen is still on the Giants payroll, and I think that Rivera still likes the Bears a lot, and I am pretty sure Shula works secretly for Tampa Bay and McDermott is an Eagle at heart.  Damn!!! It is all coming into focus.  Hell, I bet Jerry Richardson still wears Colts gear.

Damn you!!! You jumped the gun!!! This was my conspiracy theory, but right now you don't have enough facts to support that. You should have waited until after the draft, now you've destroyed the theory.

That's why even when you know a guy is guilty, you don't charge him until you have built a solid case. Now Gettleman is going to walk because you jumped the gun. Double jeopardy and all that.

I'm sure you know that there's no Double Jeopardy in this forum...lol

I don't think he is trying to sabotage him but no one can argue the fact that we HAVEN'T done poo for Cam since he got into the league.

There were moves to be made even with the cap situation (don't get my started on Allen again)

Allen was taken in the third...and we did not have a third.

We would have needed to take Allen at the top of the 2nd round to get him.  His grade was not that high....which is why no one else took him in the second.

If we had a 3rd last year and passed on him, then your flaming would be more relevant.

If he cuts Greg Olsen randomly, I could see your theory being true.  As of right now all the moves he's made have been strictly money saving ones and it remains to be seen what he will do when he's got some more cap space to play with.  But if he gets rid of Cam's lone remaining weapon...I have a hard time believing the offense will even produce at the rate it did last year when it was 26th? overall.

    • I meant write off in the entire class being absolute garbage and that being on Dan  FA was pretty solid but Dan and Brandt handing out one big terrible contract to Turk Wharton. Milton was their top target and the pivot from Milton to Turk while paying Turk what they did was insane.  Id LOVE to know had we not paid Turk what type of contract he would’ve received. 3/30 mayyyybe? This is someone Brandt obviously vouched for.  I’ve watched a few of Tilis’ interviews now. One with Jourdan and one with Yates. He’s a big Moneyball fan. Giving Turk the deal they gave him is the complete opposite of the whole Moneyball idea. They paid a dude who they saw some potential in money that you’d pay someone that has actually made an impact  The worst part is that he’s 100% here next year too. That contract keeps him here until 2027 for sure
    • Are you kidding? They just now figured out they could use someone else for a qb sneak.
    • The biggest problem is that his upward trend is still well below NFL average. At some point there's just too much evidence to ignore. I've been there for awhile now. Honestly, it only took a handful of games for me to realize that he just had too many physical limitations to overcome to ever be a legitimate starter. I get that the organization couldn't afford to pull the plug that quick after that investment but there's absolutely no way we should've gone into year three without legitimate competition on the roster. We always a year behind kn this Bryce thing. This year should've been the legit competition year and this offseason should've been the moving on point. Hopefully we'll play catch up but I expect the trend to cj tinge and next year will be the vet competition year.
