Thoughts on melvin white

last season i dont ever recall hearing his name even though he started a lot and for a cornerback i hear not having your named called is a good thing. I remember seeing captain being beat a lot but not white. I don't know what the feelings are about him here but is he a solid starter for us for years to come or not?

I think he will be a starter, yes. He certainly looks like a keeper so far.

For an UDFA from Louisiana Lafayette he played pretty damn well for his first season.

I'm very high on him. He had some rough patches, which is to be expected, but did extremely well for a undrafted rookie. Playing behind this front 7 is beneficial to his growth as well.

Decent starter now with pretty good potential. For an undrafted guy, he exceeded expectations and will be solid for us this year.

I think he'll emerge as not only our #1 CB, but also a serious pro bowl candidate. Great size, good instincts. Year two is usually when the guys from smaller schools really step up.

He's the size, measurables we are looking for in a corner with our front seven. He was a guy I really liked in tc. Hope he makes another jump this year.

Definitely has potential and I'll also say that it's usually a good thing if your name is rarely called as a CB.  That generally means you're doing your job.  Same for OL.

Putting the title thing to the side. He wears my favorite number so that's a plus for me and I think he did a good job against teams #2s this year.
