Sounds like a great prospect at a low position.  I am sure he is on Gettleman's watch list regardless of whether we went to the workout or not.

We snagged Gaydosh last year why not this guy.

BTW not everyone goes to the DRAFT section because people like to post here.   Who really cares whether it is over there or not.   If management decides to send all of these over there than I would go but otherwise I like to do my reading in here.    Stop whining about something so trivial.

Pro days are nice and all, but teams will have an opinion based on game film.  Private visits can show teams injury progress, player character, etc., but teams aren't going straight off of a few sprints and bench press reps.

Which once again begs the question, "why even have a separate section labeled draft"?

Just put it all in here and forget about it

It takes all kinda people to make a forum go 'round.  You have to make allowances for the persnickety.

This guy is an absolute beast. My good friend plays QB for St.Mary's University and was able to see Duvernay-Tardif play this past season and said that he was the best athlete/football player he's ever seen. The impressive thing is he's in med school and has little time to practice during the week but yet he was still able to dominate come gameday.

His workouts/one-on-ones are impressive but I havn't seen any game tape, but based on the fact that several teams were at his pro day a couple of days ago, including the Cards GM, must mean something. Hard to judge a CIS guy going to the NFL but if he's there in the later rounds then I wouldn't be opposed. Everything I've heard has been positive

All indications suggest Duvernay-Tardif will become the first Canadian collegiate player since Akiem Hicks in 2012 to be drafted by an NFL team. Duvernay-Tardif’s projected to be selected on the final day, somewhere between rounds four and seven.

Should he somehow slip through the cracks, he’ll almost certainly be signed, quickly, as a free agent.

( “I expect him to be drafted on the last day,” said Chad Speck, Duvernay-Tardif’s NFL representative. “If he’s not drafted, he would sign as a free agent fairly quickly. I feel very confident saying that." )

    • Reasonable. I mean I didn’t see a clear path to relief this season myself. As I have typed already, I think the QB FA class is more interesting next season and that draft is supposed to be stacked as well. There just weren’t many options this year.  When you have Tepper to contend with you have to tread lightly around this unless you are 100% certain and willIng to stake your job on it.   There were a couple of outings that helped Bryce a lot in terms of  thinking maybe he can do this, and if you are a supporter you are giving them a lot of weight. You are likely to think just get him some more help and he can do that every week. Which I think Tepper falls into that category.  And the playoffs, division champs, regardless of the way I see that, the supporters will also give that a lot of weight.    And the big one, the atmosphere In BOA for that WC game, Tepper had to be soiling himself over that. If you pulled Bryce out right now you had better be right and your new guy had better make the playoffs and look good doing it or you will be gone and your chance to build your old team back into respectability will be gone too.  So here we have Pickett on a one year deal, and Grier and King. I understand it.
    • Well, seeing as we play the Lions at home this year, pretty sure that rumor isn't true.
