Most Drafts have us taking OT Morgan Moses in 1st round

Personally, I like Moses. While I wouldn't be unhappy with the pick, I feel we may be targeting a few specific guys. If those guys aren't there, I think there's a good chance we trade down and can pick up value similar to Moses in the second. This would be my preference.

Depends on who was still available. If Cooks, OBJ, Shazier or Fuller are still there I will be livid if we take Moses.

Don't worry none of them will be available at 28, maybe shazier but doubtful

Moses is a RT.

Sorry, it's true. They're only predicting Moses to us because we need a Tackle. I suggest you don't get accustomed to the idea of Moses' name being called on Thursday.

Gettleman doesn't subscribe to that whole LT/RT thing though.

They're only picking Moses at 28th because he's the next OT in line and we have a hole at that position.

I don't see G-Man drafting Moses at 28th.

Remember that four year stretch when we were mocked a TE in the first every damn time?!?

Kevin Weidle doesn't think so. He said on WFNZ a few weeks ago that he thinks Moses has the highest ceiling as an LT in this years draft. He's a pretty good draft analyst.

@MuenchESPN: @KevinW_ESPN and I discuss Virginia OT Morgan Moses in our latest draft blitz. Check it out.

You can post as many Byron Bell pictures as you want. The fact is unless Moses or any other OL is at the top of our board they won't be the pick.

The thread is about Moses being there and us taking him, no? If he is there and we pass on him then we have some shitty ass talent protecting who we hope will be our franchise QB. We have to protect Cam first and foremost. A great WR doesn't mean squat without an oline to give the QB time.

It really depends on how the draft before hand shakes out.

I'd take Kouandjio over him if he's there and if Kouandjio is not there I'd be looking for a receiver. I would probably take Robinson,Lee and Matthews over Moses.

Kyle Fuller won't be there but if he is he'd certainly be in play.

I firmly believe that Kouandjio would be the pick if he's there unless of course Lewan or some other stud fell too.

So a guy that is weak and need work in run blocking is a RT?

Yeah...right.

He'll be able to keep Cam upright and that's what I'm looking for in my LT.

That is BS. Moses is viewed as mid 1st - early 2nd pick who will immediately start at LT in the NFL.

"viewed" by whom?

if the answer is anything but Gettleman, it doesn't matter.

If Gettleman thinks he is an immediate starter at LT and he is available then he is likely the pick.

I laugh at mocks, analysts, and pundits as it is.  the prelude tot he draft makes them insane and then its hilarious how fans hear things enough that they start accepting them as fact.

these are truly amazing times we live in.

    • Bryce has been in the NFL 3 years and still looks like a very mediocre QB. Most games are nothing but mediocre plays with a highlight reel every now and then.  He is a very INCONSISTENT QB and it’s very fustrating. He does not deserve a 5th year option, even though the Panthers and all the dumb asses in the front office will give it to him.
    • I’ve rarely ever been more sure of anything than losing out — but how can anyone say with a straight face “Bryce hasn’t improved, but Canales has and he’s masks his flaws”. You have to be so out of touch with reality to put one way above the other when discussing those two.
    • Last night was the classic example of a visiting team just holding on through the wave of emotion a home team has at the start of a big time game. Bama’s first two kickoff returns really set them back as far as playcalling and allowed OU to dictate field position. The emotion of the home crowd fed into what OU was doing at that point, and it felt like Bama would not be able to overcome that.     Once the kickoff returner was told to fair catch every kick, the game shifted, as Bama wasn’t starting each drive inside their own 15. It was then that Bama was able to make some plays, outscoring OU 34-7 the rest of the way.  I think the last 3/4 of the game proves Bama was the better team. OU was just able to ride the initial wave of emotion to a big lead, but Bama held on just enough.  However, had OU blocked the punt on Bama’s second drive and scored a TD (vice a FG on the ensuing drive), things likely would have been different.  Anyway, Roll Tide!
