Not going to jump to conclusions here, but if this is legit, then it just makes the decision to franchise him look even worse.  I would've hated to have seen him walk, but we would've ended up with a pretty nice compensatory pick next year and right now, that's looking like it would've been our best bet.  Fug.

What? A simple domestic violence charge is a misdemeanor in literally every state, otherwise it's felony assault.
