Wear Pink for My Mom - by Deangelo via @theMMQB

I read it off twitter. It is very sad. I hate that disease with a passion. My father died of prostate cancer. Now my sister has been battling breast cancer for some years. It's rough. I normally wear pink to raise awareness. My sister has a few projects she is working on to help raise awareness/funding for this terrible disease.

@CoachRiv2: In tears, love & hugs #34 Wear Pink For My Mom, Who Lived to Love | The MMQB with Peter King - http://t.co/tOwoKVApSc via @theMMQB

fuging cancer sucks bro.

Yep...cancer fuging sucks.

Lost my mother-in-law to brain cancer about 6 months ago.

Also, just buried one of my best friends yesterday (lost his battle with Cancer over the week-end).  He was only 51 years old and has three kids that are under the age of 22.  His youngest is graduating HS in a week and has to deal with this poo.

Really puts things in perspective....given that he is only a few years older than me.

My heart definitely goes out to Dwill.

The void of losing a parent early that we're extremely close with,  can't ever be filled.   Lost my mom 3 years ago and it still feels like yesterday.   I'm glad he has family and friends that can support him in this moment of need and pain.

What a touching article from a grieving son. DeAngelo Williams is truly an individual that deserves respect and admiration for who he is as a person far beyond anything he has accomplished on the football field. That is a rare thing in professional sports. I'm proud that he is a member of this organization.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
