fall on the ball.....how many times to players need to be told......sigh

Had a receivers coach that used to yell 'Just catch the ball and fall down!' when we dropped a pass... reminds me of falling on a fumble. It's not glamorous to catch a ball and immediately fall down or to just jump on a fumble, but much of the time it's better than the alternative. Philly will fix it.

I like his mentality even though this was an entire team failure. Maybe this ass whoopin will wake them up.

it did last year when we played AZ. and this is a game earlier. 9 game winning streak here we come!!!! haha

okay taking off my homer glasses now. i do think this will wake the team up. but for sure this year is going to be hella more difficult

I can't believe the amount of people saying we should cut him. He's a rookie and had a great showing at WR last night. He made a rookie mistake, it happens.

He obviously was beating himself up over it. I liked the leadership Cam showed when he went up and told Philly not to let it bother him. (I'm guessing that's he said before he slapped him on the butt)

The way I look at it, KB and Philly are our future, and after last night, I'm excited about that.

He asked Rivera if he could apologize to the team after the game.  Rivera told him not to because that wasn't why we lost.

He also said he did a lot of good things offensively and maybe they're putting too much on him with PR/KR

Also, said he didnt stress the drop. The problem was him picking it up and then fumbling

    • I honestly can’t believe this team’s turnaround this season. It’s surreal. Figured healthy we’d be fringe playoffs and with another lottery pick could finally turn the corner, but we don’t even need that. This group is ready. We haven’t played remotely well the last 5 games and yet still blew out 5 bad teams by 16+ each game like it was casual practice. We had a few solid teams with Kemba and Big Al but this is easily our best group since the original Hornets moved to NO. Man, what a shift in culture this new ownership group and front office has brought. So damn happy to see it after years of suffering and consistently meaningless games in this stretch of previous seasons.   Only 2.5 games out of the 6 seed, although Miami, Atlanta and Orlando have been playing well too. Gonna be a fun final stretch, hopefully we can get a top 8 seed at the very least. Celtics tomorrow will be a good test. Would be huge to keep the road winning streak up against a very hot top team on the 2nd half of a back to back. We’ve played Boston pretty well the last few years with much of this same group despite sucking so I do feel pretty good about it. Kon is due for a huge game coming off a few cold shooting games (although despite the poor shooting he’s been contributing well with defense, assists and rebounds).
    • It amazes me how underrated Horn has become after he finally was able to stay on the field. Sure last year wasn’t perfect but he was still a huge reason for our rebound defensively and I’d say he’s easily a top 10 corner. You don’t want to see Mike Jackson as our top corner. Any player is available for the right price but I’d be extremely hesitant to move Horn even for a big haul from LA.
