It's a mute point because G-man will not trade for him.  But we will have some comp picks this year, probably 2 or 3.  Giving up a 6th in 2015 and a 5th in 2016 would not be the end of the world.  But like Mr. Scot said do you really want a guy that just sucks a little less than our guys?  By the end of the year or the beginning of next year Boston may be better than Barron.  He don't have that far to go really.  And then you have given up 2 picks and a big ass salary cap space for a guy sitting on the bench and maybe playing special teams.

His cap hit would actually be a lot less than I thought, because most of his contract money was a signing bonus, which TB already paid and has to take the hit for. All we would be on the hook for is his base salary, which is pretty cheap.

Yeah but how does the 5th year option work with that? Is it null because of the trade or is the transition tag their only recourse to keep him? Personally I would have given up a 4th and 6th for him. But I doubt the Bucs would have taken that from us.

Not surprised it's a minimal salary on the Rams side. Anybody who remembers how much dead money we're paying Beason understands that the team that trades the player away is still on the hook for most of the pay
