Yes .. it's like politics.

 

You have the conservatives  -- I.E. standard Pecan, Pumpkin, Sweet Potato, Apple, Cherry

 

You have the liberals -- IE.. any fruit pie,  blends of pies (ie pumpkin crisp the best of them all)

 

Then you have independents -- IE the people who can't understand why this keeps coming up every 2 months

 

Then you have the soulless bat #$#$% crazy people who don't like any pie ... feel sorry for them and shun them at every opportunity.

Rhubarb pie is vastly underrated and is subjected to wide spread ignorant prejudices.  It just needs the right amount of sugar to complement the tartness of the Rhubarb.

 

Mince Meat pie is in a lower category but is worth a mention. 

 

Plus, Rhubarb is a neat word.
