Amini at RT anyone?

we're in a race with the redskins for the worst offensive line in the NFL.

I feel like RG3's line doesn't think much of him, when he was sacked I saw none of his lineman extend their hand to him and try to help him up.

You know what disappoints me about that clip as much as anything else?

 

That over to the left you can see Byron Bell basically just watching it happen (which he's free to do because he's blocking no one).

It's a different position for what it's worth. Interior linemen have to be smarter than guys who play outside. Amini is dumb, couldn't qualify academically for school, immature, etc

Also generally true that your right tackle is a mauler while your left tackle tends to be more athletic.  That's why in the offseason most people were expecting Chandler to take the left tackle spot and Bell to wind up back on the right.

 

Given this season's results, doesn't seem like it would have mattered either way.

At this point after watching Chandler utterly fail so miserably, I figure, might as well.  Amini is gone in the next year or 2 if he doesnt show something especially with the emergence of Norwell.  Who knows, he could surprise...not likely, but why the hell not.

Hell I'm all for trying anyone at the tackle spot. I'd even hold tryouts for guys on the bench that could possibly play anywhere one the oline cause it's that bad. Hell let the d-line play both offense and defense like in high school if that's what it takes! But seriously, why the hell not give him a shot? It's hard to be any worse.
