Luke kuechly still leads the nfl in tackles

Luke Kuechly's coverage this year is miles ahead of where it was in 2013 and 2012.  Not that he was bad in those years, but he is making a lot less mistakes and shuts down the checkdown arguably better than any other ILB/MLB in the league.

We could've had Lavonte David and paired him up with Kuechly and Davis if we'd taken him over Silatolu. Also could've taken a LT in Glenn or a WR in Jeffery but no, we took a guy out of Midwestern State.

Hindsight's 20/20. This board would have flipped their poo if we took Alshon. Everybody was convinced he was too fat and slow.

    • Not sure how much he was a long term piece of this team.   Sucks to not have him as part of the rotation.   Looks like it's Lee Hunter time.
    • This post was an error. Oops and sorry for the errors in the previous one. Too slow to edit.   We’ll see what they do.
    • I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
