What is really going on? If we want a WR who can only body-catch balls, we might as well put Presley or Hill in there, at least they have speed.

I am really getting worried, because we most likely may not have Brown next week and can't afford to not have any reliable targets for Newton.

He came out on fire. Against arguably THE BEST CB in the league.  He also drew many illegal contact fouls.

He only had one actual bad drop.  Other than that a good performance (when thrown to at least.)

Like I said the other day...

Its a long season for a rookie.

Let KB have a couple of seasons before we try to judge him.  He is going to struggle throughout this postseason because he has never had to be mentally tough this long.

Ball was slick today for him to perform his acrobatic catches.... Cam threw behind him a couple times

Yeah, I can get with the slick ball had he not had these issues previously, also, other WR made plays. Hopefully it's the pressure that got to him more than anything. We need him going forward.

All his catches were body catches. On plays where he had to use his hands, he could not bring the ball in.

    • This is the Saints current QB room, a 2nd round rookie and former 4th and 5th round QBs.  Pretty sad when Rattler is your best option even though Shough is tops of their depth chart for right now. Dude would have been a day 3 guy in the 2024 QB class right there with Rattler.  A paper thin QB class pushed Shough to a day 2 pick.  Expect them to sign a veteran before training camp.
    • D Carr must have really disliked the saints to wait and do this announcement after the draft has passed if he made this call a few weeks before the draft sure they would have approached it and the offseason differently.  oh well will be interesting to see how their qbs perform.  would love to see them roll with Thill and just make the whole offense towards his skillset.  Although sadly would be only playing in about half the games with how often he gets injured.
    • I have to say it's quite fascinating seeing you pivot from months and months of wailing and agonizing about threads derailing into Bryce Young slingfests only for you to turn around and do the same thing. And just for the record. Nobody in life ever attained wisdom and clarity from mistakes by having people blindly fawn over them and tell them they are above reproach and incapable of making mistakes. Our front office is just as human as we are. And based on the fact that front offices across the league outside of a handful of teams change on a fairly regular basis it's safe to say they are certainly no more infallible than the average Joe even though they possess significantly more knowledge usually. If you want a utopia where all you do is shine shoes for anyone associated with the Panthers you go right on ahead and create yourself a new community sir. More power to you.
