Anyone think an OLB will be drafted early? I see it happening as Thomas Davis' replacement and to play on the other side for the time being.

I would love to see a S, OL, and WR...but knowing the BPA mindset, I see DE and OLB as possibilities.

Maybe Landon Collins will slide and we can get him there. A lot of mocks have him mid first round.

Would be fine with Melvin Gordon falling to us though RB isn't our biggest need and running backs often bust in the nfl

There will also be good CB, WR and oline options there

I love Gordon.  I've gone back and forth so much on taking a rb in the first considering

how much we need a WR, LT, and Safety, but I do love this kid, and it would be another

weapon for Cam.

Good spot for this year's OT group.  Unless there's some amazing prospect at another position that's just far too good to pass up, LT should be our pick in the first.  Speed/hands type receiver in the 2nd or 3rd, BPA everywhere else.  Gotta start thinking about eventual replacements for TD, Kalil and Stewart at some point, may or may not be in this draft.

rd3 pick 89) Justin Hardy WR ECU

also available: Laken Tomlinson, Jay Ajayi, Sammie Caotes, TJ Yeldon, Nick O'Leary

rd4 pick 121) Nick O' Leary TE Florida State

also available: Damain Swann, Alex Carter, Tyler Locket

rd5 pick 153) Josh Shaw CB USC

also available: Austin Hill, Luther Maddy, Josh Robinson,

rd 6 pick 185) Brandon Ivory DT Alabama

Also Available: David Johnson, Kenny Bell, Henry Anderson, DJ Humphries

rd7 pick 217) Tyrus Thompson OT Oklahoma

Okay, I realize Cooper will not be there at 25, but just imagine adding Cooper, and Justin Hardy to KB. That's a good young WR group. I focused this draft on addressing the offense.

    • re: PFF having Bryce Young as the best deep passer in week 12 Link to original article Excerpt from the article: PFF's passing-by-depth report for week 12 NFL Pro's Film Room Play 1 - Completion to XL running a deep crosser despite multiple penalties by KC on the play Film Room Playlist NFL Pro.mp4 Play 2 - Completion to JT with the pass rush closing in Film Room Playlist NFL Pro-01.mp4 Play 3 - Hits David Moore in the hands while taking a shot from new Panthers' DL Ter'shawn Wharton for what would've been a TD Film Room Playlist NFL Pro-02.mp4 Play 4 - This is the first play that folks could attempt to pin on Bryce if not for one detail... this was 3rd & 10 with 9sec left in Q2 (as seen in the screenshot showing the list of plays). Bryce had to air mail it out of the back of the end zone so that there was still time to attempt a field goal before halftime. Film Room Playlist NFL Pro-03.mp4 Play 5 - Bryce places this ball where only David Moore can get it (spoiler: Moore does not get it). I've included the other angle as I was confident that some would try to hyperfocus on this play as why PFF was wrong in their evaluation. Film Room Playlist NFL Pro-04.mp4   Film Room Playlist NFL Pro-05.mp4 Play 6 - Sideline shot to XL but he drops it. Again, both angles included to avoid bad faith misrepresentation.
