How Did Brady Win Superbowl MVP over Malcolm Butler?

Butler made one good play the entire game. Just because it was at the end of the game doesn't make it any more important than a play in the 1st quarter.

Edit: After reading the comments, I'm even more convinced critical thinking is strongly lacking on this board sometimes.

I don't even know what the deal with that was. It's like when I react playing madden and accidently push the button even when I know I shouldn't.

If you looked closely, you would notice the end zone wall was the same color as the seahawks uniform. With that and him being pressured, Brady probably never saw Lane.

He threw for 400+ yards and 70%+ completion rate.  He was the MVP.

Just get used to it, it's a QB league.  It's going to take a herculean effort by someone and a really lackluster QB performance by the winning QB for somone other than a QB to win the MVP in today's NFL.

Want to check your statistics? IF you're going to make a point at least use accurate information.

Wasn't really impressed with Brady, most of his throws were short to mid range, receivers fought for every yard they got. No way Brady deserves that trophy.

And he completed 39 of those 50 passes, two to the wrong team. That's a pretty good percentage regardless of where you are throwing the ball. Though it's not about distance so much as it is his spots, he got them into formations that allowed his receivers to make plays after they made the catch.

I guess once you get used to watching us enough you forget what it looks like to try to take advantage of the strengths of your team.

“A guy like Malcolm who makes that type of instinctive, quick play, that’s one of his strong suits,” Brady said. “I don’t think it surprised any of us players, because that’s really what his skill set is. A lot of people didn’t get to see that over the course of the season.

“It comes off as a great play, which it really was, obviously the biggest time of the year. Someone had to make a play. It happened to be Malcolm.”

Asked if he would consider giving his MVP truck to Butler, Brady said: “I would love to give him the truck. I would love to do that. I’m going to figure out how to make that work.”

So. Brady apparently agrees with Proudiddy somewhat. He's gonna' give the truck to Butler.
