Mr. Richardson did flex muscles regarding Hardy

But this streak of fiscal responsibility has some fingerprints on it, and those who know the Cowboys say those identifying marks belong largely to Jones' son Stephen. Outside of Dallas and NFL circles, not a lot is known about the man, other than he's the offspring of arguably the league's wildest owner, and carries a business card that lists a one-man corporation: "Stephen Jones: Dallas Cowboys Chief Operating Officer/Executive Vice President/Director of Player Personnel."

If you think Jerry is still calling the shots in Dallas you don't know anything about the Cowboys.

the panthers made their stance very clear. They were allowing due process to run it's course. Which is what every other team would have done before the media ran wild with rhe rice tapes.

So try again.

No, due process is what the 49ers did with McDonald. Even when the media wanted him suspended (not as publicized as hardy) the 49ers stood by him when she had pictures and kept him on the field. As soon as poo got hot we crumbled.

Not saying hardys the difference in us winning a superbowl, but I'd rather be the team who puts morals second with Lombardis to show for it then the one who does everything morally right but still waiting to win one. But it's a okay, we can sleep good at night lmao

Ah my favorite topic on this board. Anyone who wants a new owner must mean they also want Jerry Richardson to die. I rather the panthers never win another game than for anyone to die. So one belief is not synonymous with the other. Does this really surprise anyone. An awul decision was made, and who has been the one constant when it comes to poor decisions over the past 20 years? Yeah this shouldn't surprise anyone.

Very telling in the article when Norman says how badly the locker room and coaching staff wanted him back. Jerry Richardson does not care, all he cares about is that shield at the 50 yard line and Mr. Godell.

Don't forget, this is a business. JR isn't the sole owner, he heads a group of owners, that I'm sure were none the pleased that Hardy had repeatedly made mistakes.  At the end of the day, he has to protect and grow the investment he and others have at stake in the business of the Panthers.

Win = Love the team

Lose = Murder Jerry Richardson

Sign favorite free agent = Love GM

Lose Hometown Vet = Murder Jerry Richardson

See the pattern?

Yes we've done a whole lot more losing than winning since the beginning and for a team that has preached pass rush in draft let 2 hometown stars walk for nothing in peppers and Hardy. And I can't think of a time this team signed anyone's favorite free agent. And the only pattern I see is the big cat.
