Would he tell on me though?

Just kidding!!!!!!! Obviously not, but I couldn't resist jumping at the opportunity of rustling a few jimmies on this late friday afternoon.

But on a serious note, a mean streak isn't something you can just develop. Hanging out with Norwell ain't going to do jack poo, it's something you have or you don't. Like I said I don't mind this signing because of the low risk, I haven't paid any attention to the product Martin brings on the field so I can't bash this signing.

Disagree.

Sometimes, teammates can arguably have a bigger influence on players than coaches do.

Turner talked about how he thought he was 'nasty' till Norwell showed him a whole other level.

For that matter, how many stories have you seen of bullying victims going apes--t on people when they've finally had enough?

As mentioned, I'm not his biggest fan, but I acknowledge the possibilities are worth what minimal risk we're taking.

2nd last part I agree with. We can only hope everything finally clicks and being in a good environment helps him out. I get that Miami was a mess of a situation but I'm not sure why the Niners gave up on him so quickly when he's still under his rookie contract.

The Niners gave up on him for the same reason they gave up on most of their coaches.

He was associated with Harbaugh.

@RapSheet: Hard not to like what #Panthers have done at tackle: Signed Oher, claimed Martin. Good value, won’t affect comp picks, creates competition

Even Ian Rapoport sees the big picture.

Michael Oher was injured and played bad. Isn’t actually bad RT @RobSchroeder12: @RapSheet both players are bad, but other than that I agree

    • We should have drafted Isaiah Bond instead of Jimmy.
    • I don't want to give the appearance that I and the Nostrah Dumbass of this board because I miss a lot when trying to analyze talent, but I was all over Coker before the draft.  I wanted the Panthers to take him on day 3.  When he did not get drafted, I started banging the drum for him.  Apparently, they agreed.  (All Hail, MHS!! All Hail).  I also thought we should have drafted a DT (Marcel Dareus) over Cam Newton and give Clausen another year to develop.  (Boo, MHS!!!, Boo to you!!!)  All that to humble myself.   Coker is not blazing fast, but he runs good routes and has perhaps the best hands in the NFL.  I am tired of drops.  He is of high character---a guy you can support--unlike some of these other WR divas in the NFL.   Lock him up long term-I am guessing a deal in the $10m range (after yesterday) would not be out of the question.  He had around 400 yards this season, so let's keep yesterday as a good game and not a coming-out. We need a consistent deep threat, imo, an explosive WR with good hands.  Imagine that.  XL? Maybe its back to road kill and Dolla Bill.  Maybe this league was not meant for you.  Nothing wrong with giving it a shot, making some bank, and returning to your home.  Morgan?  Your worst move so far.  Learn from these "one hit wonders."
