Not bad but I just think Peat isn't going to be a starter right away and could struggle against speed rushers unless he can improve his game in Carolina.

That's the case with pretty much every rookie tackle ever though. It is super rare that a rookie tackle is ready to start right away and even if they are that they don't have quite a few struggles adjusting to NFL pass rushers.

Would probably take Peat or La'el if they fell to us. if anyone has been been paying any attention to me, you'd know I am set on Shaq Thompson, but these two may be higher on the draft board...not so sire anout that after news has been streaming about Shaq being a Panther if he's there....but whatevs.

I just think we are so close to a chance at a super bowl that a rookie OL isnt going to be that guy to get us past the Seahawks and Packers.

As far as a WR that can take rhe top off, we have Ginn, Brown and Maybe even the irrationally glorified Hill already on the roster that has that ability.

For those reasons, Im thinking defense wins championships and its no secret that Gman and Rivera covet the elite run stoppers and pressure providers and will no doubt have them far and away higher on the draft board than a medial Rookie WR (not named KB,) and project OL.

Not trying to knock the pucks, just going by the MO of our current FO.

Yep. Last year the rookie tackle "most prepared for the NFL EVARRRRR!!!", young Mr. Matthews, struggled greatly at times.
