Wearing black 6x at home is awesome. Too bad they'll be wearing those god awful black pants and blue socks instead of the silver pants and black socks that actually go with the helmet and jersey.

The all black jersey/pants with a silver helmet and blue socks is the tackiest and most awkward looking uniform in the NFL.

and yet it was voted on by NFL fans as the greatest uniform ever. And that vote was 100% legitimate and authenticated.

I'm gonna have to disagree with this sentiment vehemently.

You mean to tell me we aren't going to wear all black all the time with the field painted black and all the fans wearing black with black towels and then turn off all the lights in the stadium?  How gay.

    • well i could go on & on but i will just highlight it by saying big difference trust me from the SEC & NFL.it's honestly like comparing apples & oranges especially when you are talking about a  LT. in the NFL you are going up against the most athletic freaks of nature the world has to offer . .the NFL also has much more exotic & complicated defensive schemes than what they are used to seeing at Georgis &  finally but most importantly you have to learn how to master complex bio mechanics where the body kick steps instantly as a reaction to these world class athletes rush without really making a conscious effort it's more of a learned muscle memory  & it can take thousands upon thousands of reps to master rproper technique for a LT in the NFL especially if you are still very raw like Monroe Freeling is    ...just saying
    • All that being the case or maybe being the case, we do not know Wharton’s timetable n the first place. They are being coy about it. Or maybe not. They say week to week the board says he is terminal lol and must be replaced. Who knows? It may or may not warrant a fairly drastic solution.  Walker is a bargain and we are not well stocked at OL despite recent investments. Freeling has yet to have a single padded practice. Too much speculation driving this plan IMO.
    • I would really love to know who’s actually making these moves because it’s weirdly vague who’s doing the hiring and firing.
