Kelvin Shines in Camp Debut

I saw KB helping with a QB-focused drill while the other WR's were going through separate drills of their own. Which tells me that Coach Proehl sees absolutely no problems with Kelvin. None. Good enough for me.

Cam looked a little rusty to me early but then threw a few dimes. That touch pass to Olsen in between two defenders at the end of practice was perfect. Cam was having fun at the end of practice and letting the D know about it. He was jawing with CJ (in a good sport way)

Can we take a sec to appreciate Ron's approach to the KB situation? He may have come into minicamp and OTAs a little full of himself thinking he's the big boy vet after 1000 yds. 3 weeks later he's one of the first guys at Spartanburg and looking more athletic than last year. Ron sure did light that fire under his ass and it was an amazing piece of motivational coaching.

This.  I never got the problem that a few had with Ron saying what he did.  It's not even like he said anything malicious... all it did was give KB an extra nudge to shut people up motivate him to work harder before the start of camp.  Seems to have worked.

KB looks kind of frail after that huge weight loss. Not sure he can make the roster as such a lightweight WR.
