Open Receiver

Anyone watch the game again paying close attention to the recievers? One of my biggest concerns is Cam holding the ball too long cause no one is able to get open. With two speedsters that shouldn't be the case. 

If they arnt getting open is it a poorly designed long developing routes, are they getting stuffed at the line, were the jags secondary just that fast to keep lock step with Ginn and Philly, or lastly were the jags comiting uncalled PIs all game?

Maybe @Jeremy Igo saw something the broadcast missed since you rarely see down field till the exact second the QB lets loose down there.

The Jags CBs have been accused of being a lot of things.  Fast is not one of them.

two of our 5 WR are suppose to be fast, Funchess didn't play much and Norwood was IA. So that's fuging 2out of 3 WR that are fast so how is that too many slow recievers.

I remember the only time i saw a drag route by ginn caught it around 8 yards and went for around 35. Why they dont do more of this is baffling instead they are running 25 yard comback , curl and deep post routs with the slowest wr on the team. Yet in the post game presser ron used the words impressive and shula in the same sentence which scares the poo out of me.

Shula should take a note from the Cowboys game plan.  They were lackluster most of the game but the short quick hitters were effective and exactly what we need to be doing with our receivers.  Also interesting how they used Dunbar, could be an interesting way to utilize Fozzy's skill set.

That's poor play design IMO.

This happened last season too and was infuriating to see.

Almost as infuriating as the ballerina screen still being used.

I remember one specific play that Newton missed a wide open Funchess running a deep fade route. Easy TD.

Newton had time and checked it down instead. May have been his speed but damn did Cam miss an easy TD.
