Luke likely out on Sunday

Not looking good for Luke's chances. 

 

Not as involved in practice as Josh was last week. Luke is basically watching from the sidelines. 

 

I would put it at 80% Luke does not play.

He wasn't out there at all for the Media portion of practice.  Who knows though?  If he passes the test Friday night, I'm sure he'll want to play.

I feel comfortable with Klein in the middle.  Kuechly is obviously preferred, but Klein is a pretty damn good MLB.

i don't know how anybody could watch what happened to him on sunday and think he's going to be out there this weekend

In fairness, RR said he doesn't need to practice...so he wouldn't need to be as involved.

 

But yeah, if there's any question just sit him.  Klein can handle the job well enough and no need to rush back from head injuries.

If Star comes back, Klein will be just fine.

Probably for the best. The defense still poo down Jacksonville when AJ Klein was in there. This defensive unit as a whole is top shelf. It's the depth that dominates. Obviously sucks to lose Luke but going against Mallett doesn't scare me. 

I expect the game to look a lot like the Jacksonville game did, with the Panthers coming out on top 23-13.
