He's terrible as an analyst, quite possibly the worst out there. He's constantly stuttering, mixing names, etc. He's just flat out horrible at talking on air. It's cringeworthy listening to him. I just muted the TV at halftime.

As far as the homerim, Panther hate, etc the Huddle complains about, not really. Cam missed Tolbert on that check down that would've converted a 3rd down when he went deep into coverage. Barber pointed out Cam missed him and those are the little things Cam needs to work on, and the game thread erupted into STFU BARBER LOL 08 MNF LOL STEWIE STIFF ARM RETARDED HATER HOMER HOMER.

 

 

I agree he has a lot to be desired as far as an analyst and the only way someone would have heard the Panther hate that some claim this past week is if you were looking for it. He had high praise for Panthers more than anything on Sunday but that mostly fell on deaf ears I am sure. I get that some announcers are better than others but I've never understood why it upsets some people so much.

You guys care way too much about the announcers. Am I the only one that tunes them all out and just enjoys the game? I couldn't tell you a single gaff they've made because I don't care enough to listen. 

I'm the same way, I don't even notice them, they are background noise to me.

We ALWAYS get FOX's worst team. It's not just Ronde that blows, it's the whole production crew. There are fewer camera angles , fewer shots of stuff that actually matters, and they can't even get the players' names right.  The first game, they were showing poo on the sidelines while there was an actual play taking place. This last game we didn't get a shot of Cam flopping for a controversial no-call.

The experience difference between our Fox games and the CBS game vs the Texans was huge.. and its not like we were getting their A-team.

      So we cut him if we don't give him the option?  I'm pretty sure there are players who didn't get the 5th-year option that played year four of their rookie contracts with their draft team.

      I didn't say do nothing if we don't draft one in the 1st and I"m not counting on a FA to magically become a franchise QB. But signing a FA to be our starter for the year and then re-address the next offseason would be FAR better than reaching on the wrong QB in the 1st this offseason. Feeling we HAVE to find our long term solution just because we need a new QB is how we got into this mess.  We thought Two Gloves would be at worst an average level QB for a few years, that didn't happen, so we went out and traded for Darnold.  That didn't work so we went out and traded for Baker, that didn't work so we went out and traded up to get Bryce. Our last 4 QB moves were all trying to force a solution, none of them worked out, and we're still trying to find Cam's replacement all these years later.  We'd just have been better off spending a year or two building up the rest of the team and going year to year on FA QB's while doing so.  I get it, it will be frustrating to deal with, but then when you find that actual long term solution, they plug right into an already built out roster and you're ready to contend immediately.

      Great win, should be 3-0 but I'll take 2-1. LaMelo is an MVP caliber player, period.   This is looking like an incredible draft so far. Sion James looking like the exact type of role player that all contending teams need to have, absolute steal in the 2nd. Kalk is a work in progress and I question how much upside he has but he's already been a considerable upgrade at C for us compared to the last several years (outside of healthy Mark which of course was rare).   Really seems like new ownership/front office has change the culture here significantly. Every guy looks bought in now.
