ive been seeing alot of trade talk ideas from us fans in the last couple weeks . people wanting smitty back anquan old man boldin . while i dont think its likely we make a trade for a receiver it can help us make a superbowl run no doubt. the really only one i would be willing to trade for is cordarrelle patterson , i remember alot of people wanting this guy including myself  when he came out . he is from rockhill sc  and hes basically a bigger version of ginn thats drowned in a deep wr depth chart which got even bigger with that beast stephon diggs now coming along. i doubt he would be cheap maybe a 4th rounder at most for someone whose upside is sky high , he helps in the present and in the future for when we get  the monster back aka kb . once again doubt it happens but it does happen he should be our guy not no old washed up anquan boldone

How long will it take for a new wr to learn the playbook is the question.  Norwell is still riding the pine cause of it right?  Idk. More weapons the better, just wouldnt want it to be a waste of time, draft pick or roster spot.

Prett sure you're referring to Norwood, as Norwell the ManBeast mauls opponents on the regular.

Patterson still has trouble with the Vikings playbook. He's as dumb as a brick.

It blows my mind how many people don't see how useless the guy is.  It would take 3 years, of him being on our PS, for people to realize he sucks.  But that's not too surprising I guess... some people are still on board with the Stephen Hill project.

go look at pattersons numbers his rookie year and then go look at Hills entire career.

not even fair to compare the two. Patterson had star written all over him after his very productive rookie year. He probably won't turn into a star but you can't help but notice how good he was his rookie year and how good he is with the ball in his hands.

This is the beauty of our offense, we currently do not need a superstar WR for it to work.  We run the ball almost 50% of the time, and oh by the way have the #1 rushing offense in the league.  We are #6 in points per game at 27.0, and have moved the ball against any defense so far at will.  We have role players, and we just take what the defense gives us.  We're 6-0, let's not fix what ain't broke.

    • lol, that second part is quite literally one of the dumbest things ever. Having or not having guaranteed contracts has absolutely nothing to do with how much these billionaires have to pay.  Because there is a hard cap and a minimum cap spend requirement, and teams either use their cap or roll it over to use it all the next year, so the owners have to pay the same amount of money in the end no matter what. Having fully guaranteed contracts in the NFL would only hurt salary cap management, and thus would end up screwing over the team and its fan base when teams kiss on signings as they take up cap room that is needed to improve the roster. Look at the Browns with Watson, they gave him the fully guaranteed deal and all it’s doing is sucking up massive cap space now.  If they hadn’t done that, the owner would still be paying the same amount of money each year as that cap space would still be used elsewhere. If you want to argue for fully guaranteed contracts because the players deserve it, that’s an entirely different argument and a fair one to discuss.  But anyone against fully guaranteed deals isn’t doing it to argue for the billionaire owners.

    • Ryabkin could be the steal of the draft, he was a Top 10 pick heading into last season and had a rough year.  Lots of GMs passed on him because of that and his workouts. Pick has really high upside and Svech should be able to translate Rod tearing his arse a new one for making dumb plays since Svech has had several years of it.  🤣😂
