Does being undefeated make you more nervous?

Good lord. I honestly don't think about it. So what, if we lose we lose if we go undefeated then we go undefeated. Just watch it play out. I want us to win every game, meaning on when we line up I want to win. I don't think about being undefeated, if we are lining up for a game winning field goal are you going to be like OH GOD THE STREAK. I'm just worried about hitting it and moving on. The past is the past, yes it is full of wins, but it means nothing for tomorrow.

Are you okay with "as long as we have home field" or "we'll probably lose at least one or two"? Or are you one of the folks who wants an undefeated season bad and frets over each game?

I absolutely very badly want to go 19-0 but also realize how extremely unlikely it is so if we drop a game or a few I won't be too upset. Anything less than a Super Bowl win though and I'll be disappointed. This team has it in them. I fret over each game now since I want to go 19-0 but I don't treat every game like a playoff game. I'll be pissed in the immediate aftermath of a loss if it happens but I'll get over it quickly. Unlike that playoffs loss last year and against the Niners in '13. That sh*t lingered man.

No, for me being nervous was having Byron Bell as you're starting at LT and a conservative Rivera not willing to take risk.

I have more confidence in this team than ever before and feel like 19-0 can happen.

I hate the Patriots but I'd like to see them run the table too and watch 2 unbeatens go at in a Super Bowl rematch. I know we have 0 players from that team and they probably only still have Brady and a couple coaches left over, but still it's a franchise thing more than a current personel thing to me.

Not nervous, just tired of fans of sub-par teams knocking our season. Our team is playing really good, fun to watch football, and all people can talk about is how we're the 'worst 9-0 team out there...' We could go 15-1 and they'd be like, "They were who we thought they were!!!1!" Dumbasses.

Right now, I'm all: "Please just not these next two games" But after that, I will probably say the same thing about the next game. I literally looked at the schedule the other night and concluded if we have to lose a game, I hope it is in the regular season to Tampa Bay.

All other wins including the Bowl. That isn't asking too much, huh?

    • Rico is 0%. I think we would really like to have Mays back but we have a value in mind and aren't willing to overspend. I think someone probably will so I think the odds are pretty low but not zero.
    • Damn I liked A'Shawn too. This is basically a heads up we're planning on cutting you move.  Robinson wasn't the best but I loved his attitude and effort on the field. He held that entire dline together when Brown went down iirc..granted we finished that season as the worst rushing defense in modern NFL history.  If Wharton would have performed up to atleast half of his salary last season, I'd feel a little better about it. We do need that cap space though.
    • 13. Carolina is coming. The Panthers are well thought of around the league. Their "process" seems sound. I think their off-season will be very interesting to keep an eye on. They made the playoffs, but they're not yet knocking on the door. (Offense was 26th in EPA/play.) I think it's imperative they don't overestimate where they are in their build. They can't throw a ton of money around in FA to "make a run now". They need to be intentional about building a solid foundation. (IMO) And from what I know about the team... I think they will be. Sidenote: I have my eye on offense there, not defense. They HAVE to leave next season with a strong opinion on Bryce Young. They need to put pieces around him to do that. Can't be left wondering what he would have looked like with "better OL play" or "more pass catchers". They have to know. (That part is purely my opinion. No one told me that.) https://x.com/lindsay_rhodes/status/2027212533417869499?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA
