Three weird moments today

1. Kicker slipping, I have never seen such a poo in my life, always wondered if it would ever happen.

2. Never EVER seen a team quit like the Redskins did after the half today. Even then announcer said someone needs to speak up!

3. How in the blue blazes in any dimension of reality was Ginns TD pass incomplete?!!!?

I've seen teams quit like that before...happens all the time honestly in those blowout type of situations....people just start worrying about not getting hurt since the game is pretty much over...you saw the intensity go down in the 3rd and 4th from the Skins because they didn't wanna get hurt either...

I think the defense took whatever the Redskins had in pride when we took the ball on their first possession of the second half.

I really think the defense was pissed they let the Redskins walk down the field on them after our first TD.  Colin Jones slipped and everything went to hell from there.   I don't think they had another big play after that.  Other than the kick return.

Did you watch the season finale in Atlanta last year?  Atlanta was definitely phoning it in after Carolina destroyed them early on.

    • There probably isn’t an orthopedic surgery that has had more improvement in technique and outcomes over the last two decades than the acl repair. Because of its importance in pro sports and the sheer number that surgeons do there have been lots of opportunities to practice 1. Better techniques - arthroscopic v open surgery means people heal faster  2. More training - all sports med surgeons have tons of experience doing them 3. better imaging - later generations of mri are more sensitive  4. better therapy - PTs have gotten better at rehabbing them and the theories of rehab have improved a lot. No idea about brooks in particular tho, but I’d describe that overall situation as “not great”
    • If Freeling or either of the Utah OTs dropped to 19 I'd be more than happy honestly. Our OT situation isn't great with an aging Moton at RT and a mess of a situation at LT if Walker goes down at any point in time.  What I'm expecting the Panthers to do is probably draft another weapon like Sadiq or KC Conception. That's been their track record in drafting R1 thus far. None of the defensive talent projected to be around 19 stands out to me. Unless they just want to draft a LB early (Rodriguez,  CJ Allen, Anthony Hill, Jake Gollday).
