Agreed. The primary sporting goods mega stores are not Dick's in a lot of places particularly in the Northeast. Here's a ranking of individual player jerseys sold on nflshop.com in the last week with Cam and Luke at 5 and 6. It's a safe bet we are in the top 2 or 3 but I don't know that we would be number 1 when you factor in jersey sales from all retailers.

Not gonna lie, one of the proudest moments of my life was a few years back when my 12 year old daughter asked for a Jordan Gross jersey for Christmas. Not Cam, not Luke, not Smitty,but a frick'n lineman. I love that little girl (chokes back a sob).

...and hell yeah, I got it for her.

Things are changing. Years ago I remember getting laughed at for wearing a Panthers jersey here in Charlotte. Now I see people in panthers gear everywhere, flying flags from houses and vehicles. I think they are finally cracking into the transplant fanbase. My jerseys are throwbacks (blue#30, black#89) but perhaps they may make a comeback. We were losing last time I wore em' so maybe not

I went to the Dicks at Hanes Mall in WS in August, and they had no jerseys. Hats, shirts, plates for the car key chains.. but no jerseys. And they didn't have much! Maybe I should swing by and see how deep they are in the bangwagon now.

I went to Lowes on first street and the guy behind me saw my panthers hat and started with that crap. 

I'm like bruh this hat is 6 years old and this shirt hasn't been sold since 2005. It was an "EIGHTYNINE" shirt with the Steve smith X clown logo that they used to sell on panthers.com
