It is officially championship Sunday ladies and gents. Time to watch some Panther football while enjoying some good eats and drinks. I would just like to say I'm awful proud of what this thread has become and hope to carry on the Gameday Menu tradition for many seasons to come.

I'm still undecided on what km going to do and as always I will be perusing the thread for idea. So without further adeu have it Huddle! And please oh please don't forget... PICS ARE ENCOURAGED!

Well, can't get out of the drive right now.  With sun and warmer weather, hopefully I can get to Ingles and get some beer.  I have one, just one left in the fridge.  Rationing at this moment in time.  Do have a bottle of rum though.  I just finished an english muffin and a cup of yogart.  We had a lot of snow on top of this mountain.  Hopefully I can get more beer before game dime.  The wife has made 3 runs of snow cream.  I never want another bowl of snow cream.

Haven't decided yet. By the time I do and post pics, this thread will be on page 3 because of the time difference and my work schedule.

For the record , I'm thinking to cook up some brunswick stew. Highs here are around 8 degrees, and something saucy and hot seems to be in order. Not sure what meat I will prepare with it yet though.

Huge pot of chili going.  Ground pork,  sausage,  ground beef,  stew beef,  five kinds of beans,  three kinds of peppers,  lots of garlic and hot sauce.  Then diced onion,  shredded cheddar and sour cream to top it off. Killians Red and Vodka with lime also.

Going to a friends house and his lady is going to hook up some NC BBQ. Sides will be brought over and a healthy dose of Coors Light, some WA state craft brews and I'm going to bring some bourbon too.  Before anyone questions the BBQ..... they are friends from Charlotte, so it's not like a Seattleite trying to whip up BBQ.

Sidenote..... I laugh out here when I see that BBQ is a trendy eatery out here. Bistro style restaurants have popped up and it's like $15-$16/plate for "NC style" BBQ and a couple of side dishes.  Much the way pho, sushi, tapas, etc. are a "thing" in places.... out here, BBQ is a hip and chic food item in Seattle.
