Sanders talking smack on Norman

Denver IMO has been going overboard with their praise thus far.  Now that the game is coming closer I think that fake BS is going to go out the window.

Sanders on Norman.  Sanders a self proclaimed non-talker earlier in the week who claimed Norman was one of the best in the game (when he was up on the podium with the bright lights).

Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders very frank on Panthers CB Josh Norman. Says good player, but really: "He's talked himself into the media

Emmanuel Sanders rolled his eyes when I said Josh Norman's name yesterday. Said he's answered more Qs about him than Peyton's future.

I think you keep Norman at LCB all game.  His natural home.  Peyton prefers and wants to throw to that side.  WRs are a push IMO.  Better if you take away one and Manning preferred side.  2 for one deal.  Plus you would be asking McClain to move all over

I feel like Thomas is exactly the kind of wr that Norman destroys. Combine that with manning having to throw deep balls with such a high trajectory, and I think Norman has a great game.

Floaters, if Mannings tries anything deep, it's ours. Hell Luke will cover everything else.

Wouldn't it make sense for Emmanuel Sanders (a WR) to be answering more questions about Josh Norman (a CB) before the biggest matchup of either of thier lives.

Should the media only talk about Manning with these guys? What a goon.

Doesn't have much more to do with than this...   He's been answering questions over and over and now you're seeing him lose composure a bit.

I like that he's feeding Norman his next challenge..

    • Gustavsson would be insane. I think we would have to break the bank to afford that move. Which, I don't think is necessarily a bad idea. Ultimately, Freddie isn't likely to be around more than a couple of seasons more. We can all agree that unless they have a fleet of sports psychologists working on Kochetkov, he will never be capable of getting his head on straight enough to compete.
    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
    • Very true on the length but stuff like this is never where we shine. We aren’t a good team at drafting.
