Gettleman stays being the man

the greatest

Hadn't seen this article posted but he talks about how Cam needs better wide receivers and how high he thinks Cams ceiling is.

Worth the read cause Gettleman is just super cool.

"When you've got guys dropping balls, it ain't the quarterbacks fault"

Reading the comments section,  makes me realize how many are still stuck on Cam's SB fumble.

Sad.

I'm around colt and bears fans, and that's all they talk about when cam is brought up. Ppl are dumb.

PFT is to dumbass low info football fans as a pool of stagnant water is to mosquitos.  think of the dumbest, loudest cowboys fan you've ever met; i'm talking about the guy who proclaims romo the best quarterback in the NFL, answers any back-talk with "FIVE RANGS", and thinks the cowboys have the best coach, best owner, and best players at every position. that's your average PFT commenter.

if there's an article having even the slightest thing to do with the panthers it's really unusual if there isn't a cam fumble joke within the first ten replies.  i'm convinced that there are trolls who sit on that site all day long and wait for something about the panthers to appear to post their boilerplate.  articles having anything to do with tom brady or the patriots get a similar treatment.

To be fair SB bad plays have always been a point of criticism.

“I told you guys a year ago that he can take us to the promised land. He did. Now we’ve got to just take one more step,” Gettleman said. “He’s very capable of doing that, but the other guys have to do their part, too. . . .

Great read. I don't even read the comments anymore

“When you’ve got guys dropping balls, it ain’t the quarterback’s fault. There’s a reason they call them receiver. ”

Asked how high Newton’s ceiling was, Gettleman replied: “I’m kind of interested to find out. We’ll see.”

These are great Gettle-isms! good stuff.

I don't have to click that article to know there is some loser named "nhpats" obsessively mashing idiotic comments into his keyboard in a desperate attempt to draw the attention off of the patriots latest cheating scandal.

Related: What on earth is the shirt Gettleman is wearing in this pic?

It would seem Jared Allen has a pro bull named Airtime and that is one of their t-shirts. I couldn't get the website to pull up to officially link to it but type "Airtime Pro Bull" into google and it comes up along with the same pic on that shirt in the image search.

    • Aggressive runner, hits the hole fast, and runs angry.  Just a few yards shy of the single game record for the team.  Absolutely phenomenal performance.  If the gameplan hadn't become weirdly pass heavy for the 3rd and first half of the 4th quarters he might have been flirting with 300.
    • I felt that way before the season started, but I'm sorry, he's already proven he isn't that guy, I don't need to learn anything more about him. He threw the ball 30 times today and could only throw for 198 yards, which was his 2nd best yardage game this year, he's just not the guy. Which means this season has already moved onto the 2nd most important thing going into this season after evaluating Bryce, and that's developing our best young players. You don't do that by only throwing 8 of your 30 passes to your best player who is still only a rookie.  Pepper him with targets and help develop him so he's ready to take a huge leap next year when we get a real HC and QB to get him the ball.
    • Every win comes from a non-sustainable source.  As CRA mentioned, Penix absolutely imploding against ATL, and then today, defense finally clicked and looked the best they’ve looked in a long time (and still have up 24 points lol) and Rico ran for 200+ yards.  We’re not going to get that every week, especially against good teams, which neither Miami or ATL are.  Both MIA and ATL are bad teams and Bryce still couldn’t get it together.  The defense (and team) had to overcome 14 points because of his turnovers again.  That was not even an average QB performance.  We are winning in spite of him.
