I feel like this is what Saints fans said about us when we resigned Delhomme to that crazy deal. Obviously not the exact same, but Brees isn't elite anymore.

Don't get me wrong, I hope they pay him the deal and it puts them in Cap hell for a few more years. 

 

But how can anyone possibly say the guy is not still elite/a top 5 qb.  He threw for a lot of yards and points, and didn't throw many interceptions.  The Saints problems are almost all on the defensive side.

I'd take 5-6 years of cap hell for a ring, they owe it to him.  If Cam wins just one ring here give him every penny he wants, and if you think any differently you're probably lying right now.

Well the media the way they are portraying him is being spoiled rotten. Really think Drew is a good guy. And you have to blame most of it on the media.
