Because they don't it's one of the things we always said about Ron...he clearly doesn't practice STs or require any sort of accountability there and he cannot deman discipline and the team plays like it...4 turnovers numerous penalties all the damn time and always STs...its the same poo even when we are winning.

I think that doesn't matter. If the 49ers cover it on Kickoffs even if the Panthers didn't touch it, it's their ball. Like an onside kick.

The rules have changed. The kickoff is different. This team hasn't adapted. The return team isn't even aware of the possibility of the opposing team willfully kicking it short.

 

 

what's so fuging stupid about this is that we've actually done exactly that before ourselves.  2012 in chicago and it worked all day.
