I disagree with the hindsight thing but...

Draft BPA out of weak positions.  Basically I take DTs, LBs, QBs and Gs off my board the first 4 rounds. 

I part with guys like Tolbert, low ceiling projects like Bersin, etc.  add high ceiling projects for camp. 

I sign vets to plug some weak areas.  Not All Pros but I find some aging Peanut type dudes for some DB spots.  I find a decent proven power runner to add to my backfield. I go get at least one legit DE in FA (again doesn't have to be an All Pro just a legit DE).

I basically do what was talked about this past offseason once Norman wasn't being kept

Assuming they don't get re-signed. Sign Eric berry, Chris long, and jabal sheard. Draft OT, sign Ron Brooks at Cb later on. Draft corner and depth along the offensive line.

Draft Butler if KK doesnt resign.

Look for serious competition at FB late like 5th-6th round

Draft a 2nd round DE because our D revolves around pressure.  2nd round pick Carl Nassib.

3rd round trade up for Bradberrý.

Bring in cheap vets like someone mentioned Long

If we're taking about next season,  continue building through draft. DE is deep and RB is looking even deeper. Probably just a developmental LT in the draft like the guy from Bucknell since that looks weak.

This.  If he's doing that, then he's dumber than rocks.  If you're going to mail it in, you mail it in AFTER you get paid big guaranteed money.
