Florio: League Believes There Have Only Been 3 Missed Roughing The Passer Calls On Cam Over The Last Few Years

First take about to blow this up. ESPN about to run with it. Forget all the rest of these shows cause they dont carry like tmz espn

And "if" the league really believe that, release those missed calls. Bet they wont

And to add, this goes back to Ron. Like Dungy said, the coach should be saying this. When a coach does it, all these opinions and news coverage wont exist. Just one article and everybody moves on. Cam saying it brings it being talked about for days, but I suspect he feels he needs to complain publicly cause nothing is being done about it

A QB is in the pocket and hit in the leg area, automatic flag no arguments or discussion. Period.

Seriously. He got hit right at the knees; and it could have cost Cam the season.

How do you miss that piss?

If Cam had white skin, super model wife he would be suspended for those comments . The NFL is just weird on this poo.

Some of the idiotic things that come out of this board is just amazing. My favorite is this "white men are oppressed..." nonsense. Seriously, a league made up of about 65 black men may not be for you.

Yup, like i said after the season opener, once i saw how much the officials controlled and influenced that game and the superbowl, and it felt like a complete fix with an added incentive to get our QB injured, i will consume as little nfl as possible.  I watch our games, but ive hardly watched any other games this year.  I'm just losing interest in a staged product, especially when theyre trying to make our QB the heel.  F this...

    • yeah, now it's going to get awkward.  The team circles pay attention to all this stuff.  All the wives and girlfriends see the posts.  They all talk like everyone.  Football is just a normal world outside of the fact they play a game for lots of money.  Gossip travels. They know the Theilen's want out at this point.  Carolina is now the disappointed failed trade location.    So now AT takes sort of an inhouse hit in Carolina IMO
    • Ummm... The dude looked like he was about 180 pounds soaking wet with us (I don't care what his listed weight was/is) - he would have been destroyed in the run game even more than our current and past crappy ILBs. The problem is we primarily play 3-4 or nickel/dime - there is little room on the field for him because he isnt an edge LB blitzer and he can't cover for crap. The only thing he can do kind of well is be an in-the-box safety that can try and beat blockers to the spot because of his athleticism. Washington was able to make him work last year because they used him solely as an in-the-box safety and almost exclusively ran a single high FS. The funny thing is they had good yards/game stats against the pass despite most of their secondary having embarrassingly low PFF grades. Washington was also terrible against the run, which might explain why they gave up so few yards passing.
    • Just get the deal done. We've teased it so much that the Thielen's expect it. Now we run the risk of our veteran WR locker room presence becoming disgruntled. Just take what we can get, make him happy, and get future assets while freeing up snaps for guys who will be here beyond this season.
