Tolbert stats from yesterday.

I love Tolbert and he's great for the locker room but he's getting the axe this offseason- guy just can't get it done anymore as a runner or blocker

 

that being said- no one could really generate any running yesterday so I don't hold those specific stats against him

He needs to go.  It's way past time to be honest.  He doesn't produce on the field and can't block anyone.  What purpose does he serve?

Do you even watch the games? I saw a play yesterday where Stewart broke 5 tackles to get 1 yard. It's not his fault he doesn't get any blocking.

You don't get the point. If Stewart has to do what you said, what's Tobert going to accomplish? 2 carries for 1 yard that's what. I've said it before last year, Tolbert needs a perfectly blocked play to get a decent gain that Fozzy would take at least five more yards.

Past his time but not going to poo on him cuz he's one of the coolest guys on the team and those first two seasons were a blast. The coaches contributed to his decline when they decided Cam was going to become the lead short yardage back after that.

They put him on IR.  I'm sure he'll get a shot next season.  Worry about that back though.

I like Tolbert, but he's done.

We would get much more value out of a true blocking FB at this point, Tolbert's versatility is no longer an asset because he's no longer contributing in any of those roles.
