Last night was James Bradberry's coming out party

He was all over the field last night, aggressively closing in on defenders and tackling like they owed him money.

Numerous times I caught myself saying "god Norman is playing a hell of a game."

He also caught Collinsworth eye, when he wasn't talking about the huge loss of Byron Bell to the Panthers offense.

Ignore that block in the back on the fg return. That was....bad.

Block in the back honestly happens every ST play. Most big returns happen because of uncalled holding or block in the back. Refs just like fuging us.

Was it Bradberry or Worley that got undressed by Ingram early in the game?

I had Berman's voice in my head going "whoop whoop" as Ingram made the cut and turned him totally around.

It was Bradberry and he took a bad angle - too far upfield and Ingram cut right up on him. That was ugly.

The problem is that it was absolutely unnecessary. Luke was yards beyond the kicker.

I'm not making excuses . Just stating facts. Just like most of the Saints big runs last night came off of holding plays. Refs decide excitement of the game.

I've been impressed with Bradberry's progress. Worley is still playing like a dumpster fire.

3rd round rookie, playing one of the hardest positions, in one of the hardest sports on the planet.

Worley is playing like I would expect him to, Bradberry is playing great football.

I like Bradberry, really wish he were paired with a veteran though. With Luke downed for the foreseeable future the test is REALLY going to be on in full force now. Luke hid a fugton of his deficiencies. Like he does with all the secondary.

actually did not think he was that good...burned on play w / Colemans int & of course the stupid penalty on Luke's TD

You're stupid he played a fantastic game for a rookie last night. Shut down cooks and he didn't get burnt that would have been a 50/50 play on the ball to get his own pick. Also made some good tackles and stopped the Snead touchdown with a big boy hit.

Bradberry's doesn't really count IMO as a standard "there is a hold on every play" type thing.

His was just foolish.  Refs always look for those cheap shots on kickers and Bradberry took it and then literally turned and looked right at the ref behind him to see if he saw it (and he obviously did because he was inbetween the ref and the play)

I'm never surprised when Rivera-coached players do something stupid.
