That does make for a bleak future. Kalil pretty much says the coaches moved on to next season.

IR Cam?? I mean c'mon guys. I understand IR'ing guys that are already injured like Luke, Addison, Butler etc. but there isn't one NFL team out there that is just gonna randomly IR their starting QB cuz of injuries along the offensive line. Be reasonable.

Part of me agrees with this, but another part of me thinks of all the head shots to Cam, the gimpy ankle, already one concussion, and thus I'm almost (but not quite) ready to join the "IR Cam" crowd. 

I find myself wishing we had a developmental QB project we wanted to develop and giving him some snaps now.  But alas.  The one thing that would favor giving DA much more playing time is that he gets the ball out more quickly...

If we're mailing it in, we really should get Cam out of there.  He's taken a beating and that beating will only continue behind this OL. The problem is that with as competitive as Cam is, if they did that to him, he would go absolutely ballistic.

Well, we are signing new guys, maybe this will help us find a serviceable backup for next year.  If not, it means we get a higher draft pick.
